Roebling Labs is tackling the urgent challenge of safeguarding aging, vulnerable bridges from both everyday structural stress and catastrophic vessel collisions, at a time when thousands of bridges remain at risk and traditional inspections leave them effectively “blind” between site visits. By combining real-time monitoring, structural behavior analysis, and automated warning capabilities, we address a critical gap in how bridge owners detect overloading, excessive deflections, and collision threats before they turn into failures that endanger the traveling public and drive up maintenance costs.

About our solution

Roebling Labs builds vessel collision warning systems and video-based bridge monitoring tools that continuously assign threat levels to nearby vessels, measure deflections and vibrations to high precision, and alert bridge managers when intervention is needed. Through deployable offerings like Smart Bridge in a Box and Smart Bridge on a Tripod, paired with dashboards, mobile tools, and integrations with leading digital twin platforms, we provide bridge owners and engineers with scalable, field-ready systems that make advanced structural monitoring more accessible, proactive, and effective.
