Unlocking minimally invasive dental treatments using precision technologies.

The Tough Tech problem we are solving

Minimally invasive dental treatments represent a critical unmet need in oral health, but their development has been limited by the inability to precisely control chemical reactions, mass transport, and material behavior within dental tissues. Teeth and surrounding soft tissues present a uniquely challenging environment, combining mineralized structures with nanoscale porosity and complex fluid pathways, under strict safety constraints. The lack of technologies capable of operating within these conditions has constrained dentistry to mechanically invasive, prolonged, and uncomfortable approaches, limiting treatment selectivity and preservation of healthy tissue.

About our solution

Rheyo develops precision dental technologies that integrate engineered devices with advanced formulations to enable controlled, localized interaction with dental tissues. By regulating the transport, activation, and reactivity of chemical species within teeth and at tooth–tissue interfaces, our platform overcomes physical constraints that have historically limited minimally invasive dental care. The combination of custom delivery hardware and formulation science allows treatments to be spatially confined, temporally controlled, and adapted to specific dental applications. Beginning with aesthetic indications as a low-regulatory entry point, Rheyo is building a pipeline of minimally invasive dental tools and treatments spanning preventive, restorative, and therapeutic care.
