As a result, variability in ingredient quality, weather conditions, and processing methods can hide innate value in the cup. Overpotential's thesis is that a $20 bottle of whiskey has the right underlying composition to become a $200 bottle after a slight chemical nudge.
About our solution
Overpotential uses precisely-tuned electrical inputs to control molecular composition directly. By modifying the compounds that drive flavor, we unlock a spectrum of flavor possibilities from beverages at industrial scales of production. Our dream is that the best possible expression of any agricultural input can be realized in the future, decoupled from our changing climate and dwindling supply of quality crops.
