Automated biomanufacturing of human-relevant in vitro models to enable more predictive and personalized drug development.

The Tough Tech problem we are solving

Approximately 90% of drug candidates that enter clinical trials ultimately fail. A major contributing factor is that current in vitro models often fail to accurately replicate human biology, limiting their ability to predict clinical outcomes. While more advanced tissue models can improve human-relevance, they remain difficult to manufacture, standardize, and deploy at the scale required for pharmaceutical drug development.

About our solution

Criocore is a Harvard Medical School spin-out developing automated cryobiomanufacturing platform to produce shelf-stable, human-relevant tissue for preclinical drug development. This platform enables the scalable manufacturing of customizable tissue models, cross multiple cell types, in formats compatible with high-throughput drug development workflows. By generating more predictive models and multimodal biological datasets, Criocore aims to accelerate therapeutic development and support future precision medicine applications.
