Concerto is building the intelligence platform to map the relationships among microbes.
This platform begins with kChip, a high-throughput coculture device that screens millions of microbial combinations to generate the world’s largest dataset on how microbes interact, compete, and cooperate under diverse conditions. These data—particularly when used to train AI models—allow for precise, predictive insights into microbial behavior and function.
Through kChip’s vast dataset and kChip-powered AI models, we identify microbial consortia with specific, valuable traits—such as pathogen suppression or metabolite production—that can be applied across industries, including therapeutics, consumer goods, agriculture, and food.
