The Tough Tech problem we are solving
Fusion projects are advancing quickly, but the world has only an estimated 25–30 kilograms of tritium, creating a major bottleneck for future fusion power. Cambridge Heavy is addressing this scarcity so fusion reactors—and the Tough Tech ecosystem around them—can scale to meaningful commercial impact.
About our solution
Cambridge Heavy is building a compact, fast‑ignition inertial confinement fusion platform designed to produce tritium and other high‑value isotopes on a benchtop. The modular system is engineered to operate in standard warehouse spaces, avoiding large power-conversion hardware while creating nearer-term commercial pathways toward fusion energy.
